Behind the Author

Abigail Nighswonger is a Sophomore at the University of Michigan studying Sociology and Writing. Her grandmother, Barbara Hamilton, was her inspiration for this project. Abigail is an avid reader of Science Fiction, and has a grey cat named Ba'ul.

Behind the Grandmother

Barbara Ellen Hamilton was the sister of 7 siblings, mother of 3 children, and grandmother of 10 grandkids. She loved the smell of lavender and apple cinnamon candles, and was an avid baker and gardener. She died at the age of 75.
